More ideas: 1. Please check ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/ and ensure there is no subdirectory named 'extensions'. If there is one then remove it.
2. Your system logs seem to show you're using sleeping to work around the original problem, as mentioned in the bug description at the top of the page. Please reboot and then reproduce the bug without ever sleeping the system. Then once the lag and freezing starts happening, reboot again and run: journalctl -b-1 > cleanprevboot.txt and attach the resulting text file here. 3. If you can then please also answer the question from comment #2 - While the problem is happening, does 'top' show any process using high CPU? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1913453 Title: gnome-shell freeze To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1913453/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
