Just an FYI:  I see no confirmation (impacting only a single user of a
non-Ubuntu system).

Linux Mint uses run-time adjustments (so they can use foreign (ubuntu)
packages that are outside of their control), so this bug will be treated
as low-value/unconfirmed until such time as it's been Confirmed, ideally
on an adjustment-free system (ie. Ubuntu).

I see no elimination of the Mint specific adjustments that impact
especially what's appearing on screen, thus the bug could be those
adjustments aren't compatible with the updated kernel and it's the
adjustments used by Mint that need fixing.  A second reporting using
Ubuntu (thus adjustment free) would provide confirmation it's a kernel
bug issue.

if that fits their issue) thus improving chance of confirmation.
