Hi Chris, Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
It's awesome that you found the workaround and realized that the newer version (or that patch for that matter) won't work out. For the problem that you stated, I'd like to let you know (or remind you if you knew already) that TLS v1.2 has been made the "default" and the versions before were intentionally disabled because TLS v1.0 and so were simply not secure enough. You may find more about this here: https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/default-to-tls-v1-2-in-all-tls-libraries- in-20-04-lts/12464. You can still use TLS v1.0 (or 1.1) by doing some manual workarounds and such but that's really not recommended (and it's certain that these versions won't work by default!). At the same time, I am glad that you found a workaround for v1.1 and hopefully that'd help people who'd hit the same bug. Should you need any help or so, please don't hesitate to reach out. Once again, thanks for bringing this up. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1919450 Title: ssl-min-ver < TLs1.2 not usable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/haproxy/+bug/1919450/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
