I have the same problem with laptop switching between battery and AC when plugged in. I am running Windows XP, SP2 on an HP ze 2000 series laptop. I have never been involved with Ubuntu, I just found this forum after a google search. The problem just appeared after my latest format and only happens for just a few minutes when I first plug my laptop in after being unplugged. Very annoying. Please let me know if you find out anything. I'll do the same. Thanks
