I have two systems on my iMac: Ubuntu 7.04 and Mac OS X, smb.conf file is almost the same for the both. I've installed 32-bit Feisty instead of 64-bit, because the later had been broken during update to Gutsy. I've lost the original linux version of smb.conf, so present version of it is not exactly the same as the previous one.
