Public bug reported:
https://github.com/doctrine/cache/issues/354
There is a 1.11 release with deprecation notices introduced, but there
are only 8 rdepends (all php-doctrine-* or php-symfony-*) and if they
have updates (or can themselves be dropped) then perhaps this package
can go.
php-doctrine-cache has the following rdepends:
+ php-symfony-validator
+ php-symfony-serializer
+ php-doctrine-orm
+ php-doctrine-persistence
+ php-doctrine-dbal
symfony 4 is not compatible with php8 (see LP: #1929630) so either needs
updated to 5 or dropped. Presumably the two php-symfony-* packages
above will change accordingly to that.
The three php-doctrine-* packages need further investigation.
** Affects: php-doctrine-cache (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
