After upgrading to thermald (1.9.1-1ubuntu0.4) my laptop is constantly throttled to 400-800 MHz even under single core load, while CPU temperature is under 55°C. The previous version was 1.9.1-1ubuntu0.3 and I had no problems back then.
When thermald is disabled, after a minute of rendering in Blender my CPU temp is 66°C and clocks are around 2400 to 2500 MHz. My laptop is a Thinkpad P53s with a i7-8665U CPU on Mint 20.1 (based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1769236 Title: CPU frequency stuck at minimum value To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1769236/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
