The system ran for a whole day without crashing and it had gone into
screen lock multiple times but did not crash. Yesterday night I
disconnected power and closed laptop. Today when I opened, the lock
screen came up, I entered password and it crashed at that point.

The screen scrolled too much and I couldn't get a screenshot. However
the first line was

error while async write back metadata

I also recollect the third line which said

failed to set APST feature

I think I saw -19 after that, not sure though.

I ran this

sudo nvme id-ctrl /dev/nvme0

I am going to try to replicate the error by running through the same
scenario. Allowing the laptop to suspend while power disconnected and
then try to login after that.
