After performing more tests we found the cause of our problem, it is not a libmaxminddb bug.
During GeoIP database update process the file that Nginx reads is changed using wget. Core dumps occurs only during that moment because file is incomplete. So,new file is downloaded in other location and moved to right location. No cored dumps are reported, mv is instantaneous.
