I ran
apt-get install dh-python
this removed
python-is-python2
and upgraded
dh-python
apt-cache policy dh-python now shows
dh-python:
Installed: 4.20200925
Candidate: 4.20200925
Version table:
*** 4.20200925 500
500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu groovy/universe amd64 Packages
500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu groovy/universe i386 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
I then used
apt-get install python
and was told to install python-is-python2, which I did.
This removed dh-python.
I will now try to upgrade to 21.04, when I can
