Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Bug reporting is mostly about finding & fixing problems thus preventing future users from hitting the same bug. I suspect a Support site would be more appropriate, eg. https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu. You can also find help with your problem in the support forum of your local Ubuntu community http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at https://askubuntu.com or https://ubuntuforums.org, or for more support options please look at https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/community-support/709 You've tagged the issue relates to a release-upgrade from one release to another, eg. 19.10 to 20.04, or 18.04 to 20.04, but you see to be running the same 20.04.2 you installed so haven't used the ubuntu- release-upgrader yet. I'll switch package to 'linux' (ie. kernel) but I suspect you'd benefit more from support. The Ubuntu-MATE community discourse can be found at https://ubuntu- mate.community/ where help can also be sought. ** Package changed: ubuntu-release-upgrader (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1940724 Title: 20.04.2 does not connect HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 scanner via USB2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1940724/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
