Public bug reported: This is the buildlog from the 1.1.1+bzr982-0ubuntu37 upload:
https://launchpadlibrarian.net/570420275/buildlog_ubuntu-jammy- amd64.aptdaemon_1.1.1+bzr982-0ubuntu37_BUILDING.txt.gz This error: File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/defer/__init__.py", line 263, in add_callbacks assert isinstance(callback, collections.Callable) AttributeError: module 'collections' has no attribute 'Callable' happens repeatedly and results in 15 failed tests. The same source builds successfully in a PPA which uses packages from jammy-release, so I suppose it's a python3.10 issue. Brutally disabling the tests makes it build in a jammy-proposed environment: https://launchpad.net/~gunnarhj/+archive/ubuntu/aptdaemon2/+packages But probably there is a more proper solution. ** Affects: aptdaemon (Ubuntu) Importance: High Status: New ** Tags: ftbfs jammy update-excuse -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1951993 Title: aptdaemon FTBFS with python3.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/aptdaemon/+bug/1951993/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
