5.14.0-1023.25 seems to work fine.
I used the steps similar to

--force encryption.innochecksum{,,,,,} --mysqld=--innodb_io_capacity=50000
--mysqld=--innodb_io_capacity_max=90000
And it failed twice with 5.14.0-1022.24, while it finished twice on
5.14.0-1023.25
