Since there's so many questions that need to be asked before it becoming
a definitive Bug Report, like if it's affected by some third-party
packages or system configuration/modification done by me, I converted it
into a question seeking better support.

So, the reason it was originally a bug-report, is that normally the
package manager shouldn't just remove your entire Desktop Environment
because of a simple update to the upgrade-manager, and that's why I
marked this package for sending the report, since it's this package that
causes the `apt dist-upgrade` command to ask for removing the kubuntu-
desktop, as its upgrade manager (ubuntu-release-upgrader-qt).
