I got a pair of new Precision 7760s, and by comparing their setups I found that the on the one I hadn't used much yet the updates subscribed to were "Security and Recommended" where the one I had used more the updates were set to "Security Only". As I'm sure you are aware (though I was not) this cuts off access to "focal-updates". Did I make this change? I have no memory of doing so nor any reason to have done so, but operator error is the simplest explanation.
