Whenever I close the lid on my Lenovo Yoga (Yoga-Slim-7-ProX) laptop while it
is in suspend, it immediately wakes up. It must be an issue with the kernel,
because while looking this up, I found a similar problem reported with a 5.x
kernel for a Thinkpad where it was suggested to use the following kernel
parameter as a workaround:
modprobe.blacklist=intel_ish_ipc
For me, adding this parameter does not solve the problem, however, it
does change something: if I manually suspend the computer, and then
close the lid it will wake up for a second, and then go back in suspend
(based on the indicator LED). However, if the computer goes into suspend
automatically because of inactivity, and I then close the lid, it wakes
up just as reported.
Although I don't think it makes a difference, I observed this exact
behaviour on X, as well as Wayland, and also on 6.2.x Ubuntu kernels.
Older kernels are not supported on my machine.
I used the ubuntu-bug command, I hope all the relevant logs are
attached.
