I tried to reproduce the issue but could not. libzmq5 was installed
without any error in a Noble installation.
$ apt-cache policy libzmq5
libzmq5:
Installed: 4.3.5-1build2
Candidate: 4.3.5-1build2
Version table:
*** 4.3.5-1build2 500
500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble/universe amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
Can you please try again and confirm the issue is still seen. If you still see
the issue then can you please get the output from "apt-cache depends libzmq5".
I am marking this bug as incomplete for now. Please change the status
back to "New" when you reply with the result.
