Public bug reported:

The DEP-8 ubuntu-regression-suite of tests is failing in setup because
fakeroot is not installed. This likely was previously included in build-
essential.

autotest.client.shared.error.CmdError: Command <fakeroot debian/rules clean>
failed, rc=127,
 Command returned non-zero exit status
* Command:
      fakeroot debian/rules clean
  Exit status: 127
  Duration: 0.0017809867858886719

  stderr:
  /bin/bash: line 1: fakeroot: command not found

Fix will be to update the dependencies.
