If by any chance you still have access to the system, would you be able
to show the output of running 'ls -l /var/lib/snapd/hostfs' in the
terminal? The dpkg terminal log included with you bug report says it's
not owned by root, and I'm curious as to who the owner is and perhaps
why it happened.
