It seems I have another bug on my system (Hardy is not asking for root
password by trying to run root-tasks on GUI):

That's why my "ranting" is inapropriate and I apologize.

Nevertheless I would like to add, if this behavior is working as
expected, then a proper error/info message and disabling the "Allow
local system administrator login" option in the "security" section would
be very helpful and less confusing, right?
