** Description changed: My laptop is a thinkbook 14 g6 abp and this issue occurs on every distro - I tried and in different desktop environments. If I hold down one of the - volume keys for roughly half a second or longer; the key will then - repeatedly press itself forever even after I stop holding the button. It - only stops when I quickly tap either the volume up or down button. + I tried and in different desktop environments. If I quickly tap or hold + down either volume key; the key will then repeatedly press itself + forever even after I stop holding the button. The only way to stop it by + pressing either key for a specific amount of time which will make it + change the volume normally. The distros I tried were: Kubuntu 24.04 (plasma) Linux Mint 21.3 (cinnamon) Fedora 40 (plasma) Debian 12.6 (xfce)
