I'm wondering if it keeps reverting to a less than ideal display mode. Xrandr.txt says the preferred mode is 59.85Hz, but monitors.xml has stored <rate>59.883</rate>. Does the monitor have a menu in which you can find out the current refresh rate?
Also please look in Settings > Displays and check if you get an 'Adjust for TV' option. If so then try enabling it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2074559 Title: [nouveau][Samsung SyncMaster] Top margin of secondary monitor covered with black flickering rectangle To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2074559/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
