Public bug reported:
I just scanned a 6 or 7 page document. Once the screen was full of the
scanned images, it scrolled right for the new images, but it did not
present a scroll bar. I had to shrink the vertical height of the window
until it was so small as to be illegible, and THEN the scroll bar
finally appeared.
Also, I really hate the simple-scan presents such a bright page when I
have a dark theme on my desktop.
This happens all the time in Xubuntu 24.04.1:
$ lsb_release -rd
No LSB modules are available.
Description: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
$ apt-cache policy simple-scan
Release: 24.04$ apt-cache policy simple-scan
simple-scan:
Installed: 46.0-0ubuntu2
Candidate: 46.0-0ubuntu2
Version table:
*** 46.0-0ubuntu2 500
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
I expected to see and be able to use a scroll bar once the images
exceeded the screen/window space.
I did not see a scroll bar without manipulating the window quite a bi -
I should not have to do this.
