Thank you for the bug report. Based on the error with DATAROOTDIR, I
think your conf files were created before the fix for (LP: #2016744) was
implemented in 22.04. Can you check if /etc/swtpm_setup.conf contains
something like:
create_certs_tool= @DATAROOTDIR@/swtpm/swtpm-localca
If so, you should be able to replace it with the line:
create_certs_tool= /usr/bin/swtpm_localca
Then you should be able to run swtpm_setup again. Let me know if that
fixes it. Thanks!
