This contains the GH action results for 2.65.3. It's red:

https://github.com/canonical/snapd/actions/runs/10832763415

Looks like several tests are failing there, are these the same that you
mentioned in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snapd/+bug/2077473/comments/17
?

And why is this ok:

> Some tests failed, after review I see all of them are caused by the change
> that forces snapd snap to be
> installed which breaks some tests when using snapd from the repository.

And last question. The SRU Exception at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SnapdUpdates has a big section on packaging qa,
which even includes some GUI testing in gnome:

"""
upgrade test from previous version of the package. This test must be performed
with:
apt install/upgrade.
test interaction with classic apt install and update of debs to make sure that
snapd doesn't interfere with the classic system:
reboot.
install and update a deb with apt.
test interaction with gnome software center:
install and update a snap.
install and update a deb.
"""

And even a release upgrade test:
"""
This is a package new in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Once we have another stable Ubuntu
version released this should be added to the above process:

upgrade test from previous distribution to the current one. If the current
distribution is an LTS one, the upgrade path from the previous LTS distro must
also be exercised.
"""

Were these performed? Are they part of the automated test suite somewhere?
