Yes I have wondered that, in the end livepatch got enabled so at some
point in time the system configuration was ok

uname and os-release are correct - see how lsb-release differs from those.
the immediate solution (which would hopefully make this error go away) is to 
set the values in lsb-release back to the Ubuntu defaults.

Could you please try editing the file and setting:
DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
DISTRIB_RELEASE=24.04
DISTRIB_CODENAME=noble
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS"

And check if that is sufficient.
Please keep in mind that if you don't know what changed this content in the 
first place, nothing guarantees it will not be automatically changed again (:
