Ugh, blast from the past. 1/ That output, while very probably a bug, is not a regression, as it was already present in Jammy. Given my lack of familiarity with the upstream code, I didn't even try to find out what was going there and instead focused on my task :)
2/ It's a bug in the test plan (I normally explicitly mark the steps that are expected to fail), it should be extragroup2. It's nonsensical to try to add an extrauser to a standard group since /etc is read-only. I guess I fixed it while testing but forgot to actually mention it here, my bad. 3/ Sure, it's all good on my end. I was actually surprised this SRU was still pending after all that time :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2063200 Title: useradd --extrausers --groups tries to lock /etc/group To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shadow/+bug/2063200/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
