This did NOT happen on any of my previous Ubuntu installs on different machines & VMs at another (my home) location. This is a new (checksum was ok) install on a different laptop.

I expect a new (blank) text page when opening Text Editor 4. I get the last opened text document when I open Text Editor (even after reboot) + Issue: After saving then closing Text Editor; it opens with the last + text document saved instead of a new, blank page. This occurred after + rebooting also. - Issue: After saving the closing Text Editor; it opens with the last text document saved instead of a new, blank page.
