> Is there any reason you use this ppa on your primary systems? I have been investigating and could not really pin point a reason. However, I know it was one of the very first PPA I added to the system (and other Ubuntu 24.04 installs).
Whether it is related or not I am no longer able to tell, but indeed various programmes have issues with the mismatch between the gcc version with which the kernel was compiled and that shipped for the user. Here is an example where this is an issue: https://askubuntu.com/a/1429701/177437 Regards. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2082946 Title: Kernel 6.8.0-45-generic fails to boot on 24.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2082946/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
