Although 6.8.0-48.48-22.04.1 works fine with "intel_iommu=igfx_off", I
wanted to take some risks and give installing a new kernel a go.

I still don't know if I should install linux-xilinx/6.8.0-1009.10 or
6.11, but I tried 2 things:

1) the whole command "cat <<EOF >/etc/apt/preferences.d/proposed-updates
# Configure apt to allow selective installs of packages from proposed
Package: *
Pin: release a=$(lsb_release -cs)-proposed
Pin-Priority: 400
EOF"

This command gives an error.

2) installing kernel 6.11 with the program "Mainline kernels" but there
were many errors and the system would not start. I am using Xubuntu
22.04 (6.8.0-48-generic).

Sorry I couldn't help.
