@rebbel — You haven't told us what error you received. My guess is that you need to use sudo.
Do this: 1. Enter "sudo su" (without the quotation marks). It'll ask you for your password. 2. Enter the entire "cat" command again. 3. Enter "exit" (without the quotation marks).
