Sorry for the delay in responding; we have no easy mechanism for
tracking this sort of follow up.

It's still not clear to me what we should do from here.

The current state is that the autopkgtests fail; that needs to be
resolved before we can release this to -updates.

The possible resolutions are:
* A new upload with the problem fixed (best resolution ☺)

* The autopkgtest failure is *not* a regression - it's detecting a real
problem, but that problem exists in the current package and so isn't a
*new* problem. In this case we can mark the test as bad for this
version, and the SRU can be released.

* The autopkgtest failure *is* a regression, but we should release
anyway. This would require a very strong argument; known regressions are
normally unacceptable in an SRU.
