I would like to propose the addition of a log out/log in feature for the
desktop environment session in Ubuntu Live mode. This enhancement would

Currently, when using Ubuntu in Live mode, users can only shut down or restart
the system to return to the login screen. This limitation can be cumbersome,

require a session log out and login to function properly. Additionally,
live distros are often used to test packages, making it essential for
users to be able to refresh their sessions after installations.

function properly is GNOME Shell extensions. When you install or update
certain GNOME Shell extensions via apt, the changes may not take effect
until you log out of your session and log back in. This is because the
