Hi, sorry that you hit this problem. From the information provided, I
couldn't figure out what exactly is wrong.
I would suggest that you try the following:
sudo apt -f install
The only relevant thing that libpam-sss does in postinst is to call:
pam-auth-update --package
If that's what is failing, that's something that can be further
investigated.
