The current situation of not being able to delete the attachment of
signed messages is problematic for the case where the attachment
contains data that must be deleted, e.g. for legal reasons. Right now I
am forced to delete the entire email. I'd much rather accept a "broken
signature" warning (with an indication like "you removed the attachment,
hence the signature can no longer be verified") or so, that would still
be better than having to delete the entire email.
