As I have stated in another bug report, 2.6.24 + rt2x00 cvs works flawlessly (good speed transfers, no lost connection, WPA encryption, working with NM) using an rt73 card. As Hardy will ship with 2.6.24 I think is just a matter of shipping with any recent build of rt2x00 and problem solved :)
