this has nothing to do with software provided by Ubuntu. Especially,
this has nothing to do with the repo command as provided by Ubuntu. As
there is no better place in launchpad to reassign this ticket to, I will
simply close it as invalid instead.
Kindly contact Google about any issue you have with their software.
Kindly be aware that mixing software maintained in Ubuntu and third
party software can lead to all kinds of problems and is discouraged for
anybody but expert users.
Ubuntu does provide the Chromium browser, you might want to look into
it.
