Public bug reported:
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt install sssd
Solving dependencies... Error!
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
Unsatisfied dependencies:
sssd-ad : Depends: sssd-ad-common (= 2.10.1-2ubuntu3) but it is not going to
be installed
Depends: libndr4 (>= 2:4.20.0~rc1) but it is not installable
sssd-ipa : Depends: sssd-ad-common (= 2.10.1-2ubuntu3) but it is not going to
be installed
Depends: libndr4 (>= 2:4.20.0~rc1) but it is not installable
Error: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
Error: The following information from --solver 3.0 may provide additional
context:
Unable to satisfy dependencies. Reached two conflicting decisions:
1. sssd-ad:riscv64 is selected for install because:
1. sssd:riscv64=2.10.1-2ubuntu3 is selected for install
2. sssd:riscv64 Depends sssd-ad (= 2.10.1-2ubuntu3)
2. sssd-ad:riscv64 Depends libndr4 (>= 2:4.20.0~rc1)
but none of the choices are installable:
[no choices]
Current libndr is libndr5. Looks like the previous sssd rebuild against new
samba-libs (which provides libndr5) raced the samba build and still linked with
libndr4.
A no-change rebuild should fix this.
