This continues to be a problem. Today, running fwupdmgr refresh leads to a download of https://cdn.fwupd.org/downloads/firmware-07858-stable.xml.gz which is ~1.1 MB ; the discussion at https://github.com/fwupd/fwupd/issues/6888 suggests the "checksum failure" occurs when the file downloaded from lvfs is > 1MB
I'm happy to help test the 1.9.16 jammy package in #9 if that would help move this forward. ** Bug watch added: github.com/fwupd/fwupd/issues #6888 https://github.com/fwupd/fwupd/issues/6888 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2056548 Title: fwupd metadata bug due to outdated version in Ubuntu 22.04 repositories To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fwupd/+bug/2056548/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
