yeah, with this jammy image https://images.maas.io/ephemeral-v3/stable/jammy/amd64/20250327/ we're seeing some success and some failure .. some machines success w/bonding .. some machines failure w/bonding .. some machines success w/o bonding .. some machines failure w/o bonding .. so mixed results .. in all the failure cases this is what we see on the machine console (attachment)
so it seems that the (cherry picked) fix that is in the 0ubuntu0-22.04.2 package doesn't quite fix what it means to fix in all cases.. seems like there are still some corner cases where it fails in certain cases.. I'm just not quite sure what exactly that is though (oh and p.s. I ended up creating a custom image with cloudinit v23 and that got us worked around this issue for now) ** Attachment added: "image.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cloud-init/+bug/2100963/+attachment/5869361/+files/image.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2100963 Title: cloud-init fails with MAAS since Feb 4 update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cloud-init/+bug/2100963/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
