Thank you @suligap. I have updated the bug description. From the comment above: > At the same time, there's no evidence that the original issue is being caused > by the unavailability of the Store this makes it more clear that the issue is snapd related. The retry should still allow snapd to become available for the snap install to work in case the first attempt is unsuccessful due to our instance boot time being such that at times snapd goes to standby mode.
@Robie I am of the opinion that this should also relieve the worry from point 2 as we are not dealing with the endpoint being unreachable. My understanding is that the retry for the snap install will ensure snapd is active and we should not reach a case where the retry results in a subsequent failure. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2100564 Title: lxd-installer shim fails to install with snapstore error To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxd-installer/+bug/2100564/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
