Hi Zixing, yes, I see that the general support for that is in. But it seems to be flagged as "nightly-only experimental" - but I'm not sure what that means.
The idea is to use that "by default" on ppc64el starting with 25.10. (See also https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/llvm-toolchain-19/1:19.1.7-5ubuntu1 "On ppc64el configure --with-long-double-format=ieee for upcoming distros") That's where I am unsure if that is already the case. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2112391 Title: Enable Rust compiler(s) for using IEEE long-double-format on ppc64el starting with 25.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-power-systems/+bug/2112391/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
