That's unfortunate. Ubuntu in particular is linux flavor of up to date and
full featured. Stability and legacy support isn't really what they're all
about. I wonder why is it that all notable linux os unite and make one
fully featured and legacy supported and security centric and all the other
features.

Just cause it's open source doesn't mean we can't structure ourselves
properly and get the best out of the available talents and resources.
