@Marcos: If I remember well, I tried a few months ago with the version
from Plucky, and I had the same issue: unable to connect via the GUI,
but OK with a config file, something like:
-----------
[IPv6]
Enabled=true
[Security]
EAP-Method=PEAP
EAP-Identity=${EMAIL_ADDRESS}
EAP-PEAP-Phase2-Method=MSCHAPV2
EAP-PEAP-Phase2-Identity=${EMAIL_ADDRESS}
EAP-PEAP-Phase2-Password=${PASSWORD}
-----------
Installed in /var/lib/iwd/eduroam.8021x, with the correct email address
and password.
I was in a hurry, and I didn't investigate more.
I guess that if it is OK with a manually created config file, the issue
might not be in IWD, but rather in the GUI. Did anybody try to report
this issue to IWD / NetworkManager / GNOME-Control-Center maintainers?
