The compiler option search went further, and eventually I can state that: - Default of -O2 or higher fails - -O1 -fgcse -fgcse-lm is the smallest set showing the issues - -O2 -fno-gcse is the smallest change that makes it work again (I tried other -fno-gcse-lm - that was not enough)
Yeah, that means somewhere in qemu or gcc is a bug, I'll need to report it. But this small option also allows us to mitigate the issue for now by setting this in our build. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2120835 Title: EDK2 tests for riscv emulation fail against qemu 10.1 on ppc64el To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/edk2/+bug/2120835/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
