Unfortunately the logs don't tell us much:
mysqld is running as pid 83136
Error: Unable to shut down server with process id 83136
Perhaps the DB was busy with requests, and didn't stop in time, and the
maintainer script just gave up.
Could you please try:
- sudo apt -f install
- sudo systemctl restart mysql
And if it fails again, please attach a new copy of
/var/log/mysql/error.log
