sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair
sudo apt install boot-repair
This is what I used on the bootable USB for repair, not in a directory of the
full system, is it helpful? It was a cheap Ubuntu 24.04.2 bootable USB stick I
made myself, this after a few checks on my system that all passed maybe or
maybe not, maybe. I used sudo to call the boot-repair, same place maybe or
maybe not, maybe.
