Mine is also a physical desktop. Weirdly I just went to re-confirm the initial error and use SNAPD_DEBUG=1 to assist, but evidently restarting snapd is not sufficient, since I've failed to reproduce the issue with the below:
$ sudo apt upgrade snapd [...] Unpacking snapd (2.71+ubuntu24.04) over (2.63+24.04ubuntu0.1) ... $ sudo systemctl restart snapd $ snap run hello-world Hello World! I did reboot many times last night, trying to fix the problem, until I downgraded snapd which seemed to resolve things. I haven't fully rebooted just now as I'm using my desktop (but can do if that'd be helpful), I had thought that restarting snapd would be sufficient to get this to take effect but perhaps not. I do have thunderbird snap running - would snapd not fully restart if a snap is currently running, perhaps? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2127224 Title: all snaps fail to run To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snapd/+bug/2127224/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
