Public bug reported:

Since Ubuntu is officially using Wayland for good, I think this is an
important issue.

The file `/usr/lib/udev/rules.d/60-solaar.rules is missing an important
line to work correctly under Wayland:

KERNEL=="uinput", SUBSYSTEM=="misc", TAG+="uaccess",
OPTIONS+="static_node=uinput"

This line is part of the file rules.d-uinput/42-logitech-unify-
permissions.rules that is present in the source code of the project.

Can we create a patch that adds this line, or is there any security
issue related to that? I know Wayland is way more worried about security
than X.org was.

** Affects: solaar (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
