Hello, I tried your patch but did not manage to make it work. My webcam (OV02C10 sensor) is not working on my Dell XPS 14 (9440) with Ubuntu 24.04 and the latest OEM kernel 6.14.0-1012-oem.
The ipu6 kernel driver loads successfully with a clean dmesg log. However, the libcamera userspace fails to initialize the camera. The error log from gst-launch-1.0 icamerasrc shows it's looking for .aiqd tuning files in /run/camera, but these files are missing. A search of the public intel/ipu6-camera-bins repository confirms that the necessary .aiqd files for the OV02C10 sensor are not included. The issue appears to be that the required proprietary firmware for this specific sensor is not available in the standard repositories or public Intel sources. I am not familiar with such issues but I tried to get help from AI systems, but none managed to find a solution. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2117188 Title: intel-ipu6-dkms fails to build with 6.14 HWE To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ipu6-drivers/+bug/2117188/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
